Pricing

There is only one version of Timeportal and it is the same for all customers. Features can be customized and/or hidden, and some features are optional; however, every customer gets the same access to features and upgrades as everyone else. The only difference in pricing is the number of people that will be tracking their time.

Startup Fee

There is currently no startup fee for Timeportal.

The cost to start using Timeportal is the same regardless of the size of your company. What you get for this initial cost is:

  • account creation and setup
  • up to 4 hours of training for your admin staff
  • modification of Timeportal settings to suit your needs (includes custom fields, terminology, etc.)

Monthly Fee

Small Business (1 to 20 employees)

$30.00/employee + applicable taxes per month

Medium Business (20 to 100 employees)

$600.00 + applicable taxes per month

Large Business (more than 100 employees)

$1,000.00 + $1/employee + applicable taxes per month

This is a hosted service, which means that you pay by the month. All upgrades and system support are included in the monthly fee.

Here is a table with some sample costs and ROI not including the one-time startup cost.

For example, if you had 10 employees and you billed your clients on average $100/hour, your monthly Timeportal fee would be $300.00. If each employee managed to log one single hour extra because you are using Timeportal, you would actually regain $1,000.00 in revenue each month. This equates to a $700.00 net gain on your investment.

It demonstrates that if using Timeportal allows each employee to track one extra hour per month, then there is a significant return on investment for the cost. Experience has shown us that most employees track significantly more than 1 hour extra per month when they are able to use a system like Timeportal compared to Excel or written time sheets.

Generally if you are billing your time out by the hour, it is easy to justify spending a monthly fee on a good time tracking application:

  • you don't worry about infrastructure costs (servers, security, viruses, backups, etc.)
  • you don't worry about upgrades, they are ALL included
  • the amount you pay is relative to the amount you make (the number of employees doing billable work)

Special billing arrangements can be made for part-time or seasonal employees.
